Love Bites: Pink Protein Balls for Valentines/Galentine's Day (and Every Day!)

Posted by Nick Sheridan on

Pink isn't just for roses and candy hearts - it's also the colour of self-love, friendship, and, yes, even delicious protein snacks! As February approaches, we often associate the vibrant hue with romantic love and Valentine's Day celebrations. But this year, let's expand our definition of love to include the cherished bonds with our gal pals, sisters, brothers, guy fiends, daughters, and all the amazing people in our lives. Let's celebrate Galentine's Day with a sweet yet healthy treat that reminds us to prioritise self-care and cherish the love we share with ourselves and our chosen family.

Enter the Pink Protein Ball - a bite-sized burst of flavour and goodness packed with protein, healthy fats, and a subtle sweetness that satisfies without guilt. These little gems are incredibly easy to make, requiring minimal ingredients and no baking involved. Plus, you can customise them to your taste preferences, making them the perfect personalised treat for yourself and your gal pals.

More Than Just Pink:

Sure, the vibrant pink colour adds a festive touch, perfect for Galentine's Day celebrations. But this recipe is about so much more than just aesthetics. Each bite packs a healthy punch:

  • Protein Power: Not only do these balls have added protein powder in them, but our 99th Monkey Nut Butter also provides a plant-based protein boost, keeping you feeling fuller for longer and supporting your energy levels throughout the day. Choose your favourite variety – from Natural Almond Butter, Salted Cashew Butter or Natural Peanut Butter – for a personalised flavour profile.
  • Healthy Fat Fiesta: The nut butter base also offers a good source of healthy fats, essential for maintaining heart health, promoting satiety, and aiding in nutrient absorption.
  • Natural Sweetness: Agave syrup adds a touch of sweetness without refined sugars.
  • Flavourful Additions: We've included raspberries in ours as a way to celebrate and get into the spirit of all things Valentine's/Galentine's. Feel free to get creative and experiment with your favourite flavours!

    Self-Love in Every Bite:

While Galentine's Day is a beautiful occasion to celebrate the people in our lives, let's not forget the most important relationship of all – the one we have with ourselves. These Pink Protein Balls are a delicious reminder to prioritise self-care and self-love. Take some time for yourself, whip up a batch of these healthy treats, and savour each bite as a mini act of love towards your own well-being.
