Ways to Eat Almond Butter (other than straight from the jar)

Almond butter has been the talk of the town lately, and with good reason! While it is completely new to some, for others, (ahem, us), they just can’t get enough of it.

It's packed full of rich nutrients, plant protein, fibre and tasty as anything. If you haven’t tried it, what are you doing?! For those of you that have been playing the almond butter game for a while, you may be looking for even more ways to add almond butter into your life. If you need a little more creativity than the old jar to spoon routine, we’ve got you covered.

Here are all our favourite ways to enjoy our Natural Almond Butter. Tested and approved by all the nut butter heads here at HQ. Enjoy!

 

Breakfast

You’ll be jumping out of bed in no time. What a way to start the day. Say hello to your new morning routine.

  • Upgrade your morning bowl of oats with a serving of Natural Almond Butter, for all the taste gains. Bonus, it’s going to keep you full until lunch time!
  • The best pancake, waffle, pikelet and French toast sauce you’ll ever try. Trust us.
  • Add a spoon (or two) of almond butter to your favourite smoothie and let us know how you go
  • Pack a sweet or savoury almond butter sandwich! Spread almond butter on your next creation and add your filling.

Snacks

 

Upgrade your snacks with some almond butter. You’ll never look back.

  • PROTEIN BALLS. Add ¼ cup or 2 tbsp of almond butter into your next creation for an extra kick of flavour and protein.
  • MEDJOOL DATE. Grab a big old juicy medjool date and fill it with almond butter! For a little bit extra, add some dark chocolate. Hello reece’s almond butter cup!
  • LATTE. Move over turmeric lattes. We’re here for the almond butter latte. Warm up some milk on the stove with 1 tsp of almond butter until dissolved. Add a little sweetener if you feel and enjoy!
  • DIP IT. Grab your favourite crunchy vegies. We love carrot, cucumber and celery and get dipping!
  • CRUNCH IT. Grab a pack of crackers or rice cakes, spread a generous serve of almond butter and get to it. Hello easy snacking!
  • SNACK IT. Next time you whip up a batch of your favourite banana bread, muffins or cookies - swap out some of the butter for some almond butter or just add some extra in! You can find heaps of delicious recipes here 

Mains

Who would have thought?! We promise. This is a cooking hack you’ll have up your sleeve for the rest of your cooking journey!

  • BROTH. Need we say more? For a creamy, warming broth add a tablespoon of almond butter to your ramen and watch the magic unfold.
  • ROAST. Drizzle some almond butter on top of your next roast. A crowd favourite!
  • HOT CHIPS. Yes, you heard us. Try almond butter as your dipping sauce! Swap out the BBQ and tomato sauce for a morish, protein packed dip
